Welcome to The Association of Jamaican Nationals (Birmingham) UK

The charity undertakes fund raising activities, holds informative events, supports those in need within the Jamaican community in the West Midlands as well as supporting a charity for abandoned and disabled children in Jamaica. The charity also works to strengthen the links between Jamaicans in UK and Jamaicans with the wider community in the West Midlands.
To promote the benefit of the people from Jamaica and of Jamaican ancestry in the West Midlands and Jamaican nationals in Jamaica by:

 
Our Objectives

a) The advancement of education and training
b) The relief of poverty, sickness and distress
c) The promotion of good health; and
d) The provision of recreational facilities in the interest of social welfare with the object of improving their conditions of life
To advance in life and relieve needs of young people through:
a) The provision of recreational and leisure time activities provided in the interest of social welfare, designed to improve their conditions of life
b) Providing support and activities which develop their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals

 The Association is served by a management committee which is elected annually from its membership. We firmly believe that every Jamaican can and should play a part in the Association for the common good of all.

Mustard Seed Communities Jamaica

Mustard Seed Communities began in 1978 in the impoverished community of Mona Common on the outskirts of Kingston, Jamaica, as a home for a handful of abandoned and disabled children

 

Tropical Medicine Research Institute - Sickle Cell Unit and Clinic

The primary role of the Tropical Medicine Research Institute (TMRI) is the conduct of high quality health research of global relevance with particular attention to the health concerns of the Caribbean region. Research spans the understanding of the metabolic underpinnings of health conditions, the epidemiology of these conditions as well as interventions to reduce negative health outcomes and enhance well being

Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association Limited
(JAAA)

The objects of the association are to promote, develop and regulate amateur athletics in Jamaica. The JAAA aims to provide instruction and teaching of athletics to teachers, coaches, instructors and athletes. It organises competitions and events in Jamaica whilst laying down rules and regulations and providing rewards to winners
